Welcome to the Blue Scythe website. Years ago when I was a boy, I actually experienced many of the incidents and adventures described in the stories you will find here. I have told the Blue Scythe stories to my own children, other family members and to friends, and have finally decided to record them for others, hopefully, to enjoy. Everything described in the 10 stories is the result of my personal dreamtime relationship with the Blue Scythe. Most of what I write about actually happened the way I describe it. While some stories are enhanced for added interest, all reflect what I learned from this mythical figure who visited me in my dreams and enriched by waking hours. For obvious reasons, names and places have been changed, although my mother did want to name me Piers. I wish you happy reading.
